COPE is 100% volunteer managed and operated, and all funds provided for the animals go toward the medical care, spay and neutering and daily care until the pet is adopted into a forever family.

•	To promote the sterilization and humane care of stray and feral cats.
•	To find appropriate forever homes for those cats and kittens found to be adoptable.
•	To educate the public on the importance and positive affects to the community for the spay, neuter and appropriate care of cats and kittens.

COPE Rescue is no-kill, all volunteer, not-for-profit animal shelter established in 2003 in Joliet, Illinois. COPE is committed to rescuing abandoned  and/or injured pets who are in need of forever homes.  COPE is also dedicated to spaying and neutering as many cats as possible, providing the care for colonies of feral cats, removing non-feral strays from the streets and placing them into our adoption program whenever possible.
