The second Poker Run fundraiser for COPE happened on September 26, 2009. The weather did not cooperate and we did not get what we had hoped to have (around 30 riders) BUT the party which started at 4:00 was great! Many raffle prizes, food supplied by Gippers, and a band, “The Clients” made it a fun night for those who rode and those who just came to the “After the Poker Run Party” Of course our favorite rider is “Lefty” who comes with his partner to the rides. What a guy!

Christmas Party for COPE was Saturday Evening (Dec. 5, 2009) with a catered dinner and gift exchange.
THANKS to all who helped with the Christmas Party and a special thanks to Jack! It was nice to get together with a group of animal loving people (36 COPE members attended).

Fall Paw Fest sponsored by COPE and the Joliet Park District at Bird Haven Greenhouse in Pilcher Park, 225 N. Gougar Rd.. Bring your pet and have a day of fun! There will be a dog walk in the morning, then games for you and your dog to participate in, vendors, rescues, and ring demonstrations including agility dogs. There will also be a Pet Fashion Show you can enter your pet in. Keep this date in mind, you won’t want to miss the fun, there will be more details to follow.

March 3rd, at 7pm.
The address is 850 Wynstone and it's very easy to get to.....just about 2 miles from the Shorewood Library.
Take 52 (Jefferson) and go west to River Rd (CVS and Walgreens on the corners).
Turn left (or south) on River. Go about 1/2 mile to the first stop sign (Seil Rd.).
Turn right (west) on Seil. Take Seil to the 2nd entrance into the subdivision. That's Wynstone.
Turn left on Wynstone and go one block and you will see the clubhouse .....building canted on the left. Parking in back. Can't miss it.
